Firefighter/EMT

ALS Providers
 

At this time WCVFD is hiring Full Time for EMT/Firefighter and Part Time for EVOD and ALS providers.

Part Time Position:  12 or 24 hour shifts (0600 -1800 hrs and 1800 hrs - 0600 hrs) Pay will be discussed during the hiring process.

 Full Time Position:  24/72 Schedule. Benefits include Paid leave, Health and Dental Insurance, Retirement/401k, etc. Pay will be discussed during the hiring process.
 

Duties and Responsibilities:
 

- Respond on Fire/EMS/Rescue incidents
- Complete Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Equipment Checks
- Complete Various House Chores
 

Qualifications/Requirements:
 

Minimum Education & Certification:

ALS provider (Firefighter Certified Preferred)

High School Diploma or GED

Valid class C License

Valid ALS Provider License

MFRI Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations

MFRI EVOC Course

NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800

MFRI Firefighter I (preferred)

MFRI Firefighter II (preferred)

MFRI Rescue VME (preferred)

Minimum Education & Certification

BLS Provider/ Firefighter:

High school diploma or GED

Valid class C License

Valid EMT License

MFRI Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations

MFRI Firefighter I

MFRI Firefighter II (preferred)   

MFRI EVOC Course

MFRI Rescue VME         

NIMS courses 100, 200, 700, 800

Minimum Education & Certification

 EVOD ALS or BLS:

High school diploma or GED

Valid class B CDL License with Tanker Endorsement

Valid EMT or Higher License

MFRI Hazardous Materials Awareness & Operations

MFRI Firefighter I

MFRI Firefighter II (preferred)   

MFRI EVOC Course

MFRI Pumps Course

MFRI Rescue VME         

NIMS courses 100, 200, 700, 800
