Winfield receives Mass Causality Response Award

On Monday, May 13th, 2024, several Winfield Members were recognized with the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce’s Mass Casualty Response Award at their Annual Carroll County Public Safety Awards Ceremony. This award was for a Motor Vehicle Incident that occurred on November 4, 2023, on West Liberty Road in Westminster.

Winfield receives funds from 2024 Legislative Session

The Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to announce that during the 2024 Maryland General Assembly's Legislative session, our department was awarded $225,000 for the urgently needed upgrades to our electrical infrastructure on the firehouse carnival grounds. Close call in Winfield

This morning around 0800 Box Alarm 14-02 was alerted for a house fire in the 4800 BLK of Roop Road after a severe storm went through the area.
Units arrived to find a 2 story home with smoke through out the home with fire in the basement. Units stretched a line and made a knock of the fire.

Tanker Committee Visits Peterbuilt Plant in Denton, Texas

On Monday, November 6th, 2023, a few of our Officers visited the Peterbuilt Plant in Denton,Texas in hopes to see our new Tanker Chassis. We were fortunate enough to take a tour of the Peterbuilt plant, which was set up by The Larson Group, in Charolette, North Carolina.
