Early Monday Morning Winfield Crews were alerted at 5:27a.m. for a vehicle collision with a reported entrapment at the intersection of Route 26 & Franklinville Road. Chief 14 (Tim Warner) was the first to arrive and establish command, and advised no entrapment. Engine 141 & Duty 14 worked on cleaning up the scene while Paramedic 149 transported a patient to the local hospital. State Highway was requested due to the icy road conditions and Route 26 was shut down for part of the morning rush hour.
