| On Friday, December 3, 2010, approximately 90 individuals attended a Longaberger basket bingo that was hosted by the Winfield VFD. All proceeds were given to the Fire and Burn Safety Coalition of Maryland (FABSCOM) earmarked to purchase visual smoke alarms for the deaf and hard of hearing that reside in Maryland.
Many thanks to all that assisted with this project, sponsored and filled baskets.
President Scott Legore, and event organizer Debbie Gartrell-Kemp, both of Winfield, presented a check to Peggy Webb in the amount of $2,000.00; proceeds from the bingo. |
