| The Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department is seeking young ladies in the below age groups to possible represent the fire department as our Fire Prevention Representatives. This is a great chance to learn and share fire prevention knowledge. The winners would be able to work with the community and get community service hours for school. We understand that most candidates will not have fire prevention knowledge when they start but we will help in the resources they need to learn.
Little Miss - Ages 6 to 9
Junior Miss - Ages 11 to 14
Senior Miss - Ages 16 - 24
For anyone that is interested please visit the Fire Prevention Queen page for applications and information sheets. The contest will be held on July 12th at the carnival. The application deadline is June 25th.
