The MSFA Fire Prevention Committee handed out the fire prevention awards this morning in Ocean City, MD, at the MSFA Convention.
Winfield entered two books, one in the year round category showing all of our prevention efforts from January 1, 2009, through December 31, 2009, and one book in the single project category, which focused on fire prevention in the schools.
We placed 7th overall out of 27 entries and received certificates and a $50.00 check to be used towards our fire prevention efforts.
