The Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department was proud to host the Maryland State Fireman's Association North Central Regional Junior Miss Fire Prevention Contest. This was the first time the MSFA has held a Junior Miss Fire Prevention contest and three young ladies from Carroll and Frederick counties competed for the title. Winfield's own Stacie Jaret, the MSFA Miss Fire Prevention 1st runner up, was the emcee for the contest. The winner was Katie Frances from Hampstead. Congratulations to Katie and job well done to all of the young ladies.
