Just as half time on the Ravens-Steelers game was beginning, units were dispatched to a reported garage fire in the 7100 block of Bridoon Avenue (Box 12-19). First arriving units reported a working fire in an attached garage of a two story house and requested the Rapid Intervention Dispatch. Engine 141 and 142 responded as part of the initial dispatch. The first arriving units were able to make a quick knowndown of the fire and Winfield personnel just stood by before being placed in service. One firefighter was injured by falling debris and taken to the hospital.
