Station

The Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department is located at 1320 West Old Liberty Road in Southern Carroll County, right next to South Carroll High School. The original station was built in 1966 and was a two story structure with four apparatus bays on the lower level and a social hall and kitchen on the upper level.

The station was expanded in 1976 with two additional apparatus bays added.

In 2005, the department underwent a huge renovation/expansion project at a cost of $3.2 million. This project took almost two years to complete and has given the department some much needed space.
