On the morning of 4/16/2019 around 0715hrs, E141 (Winfield) was alerted to assist Mt. Airy Volunteer Fire Company for a reported single pickup truck into a tree with rescue. While units were responding, Carroll County ECC reported that a Carroll County Sheriffs Deputy was on location with one patient trapped. Mt. Airy Units arrived shorty after and confirmed one patient trapped. Crews from Mt. Airy began to stabilize and begin extrication of the patient. Command requested MSP aviation for transport of the patient, to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center.

As Engine 141 was arriving on location, command upgraded the rescue to "heavy entrapment" and requested the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma GO TEAM. E141 arrived and assisted with rescue operations. MSP Trooper 3 arrived and assisted with patient care. Due to the extent of the rescue operations, command requested an additional Rescue Squad, bringing Frederick County Rescue Squad 15 (New Market) to the scene to assist.

MSP Trooper 1 arrived with the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma GO TEAM. The GO TEAM began to assist with patient care as crews continued to extricate the patient. After nearly an hour and twenty minutes, crews were finally able to extricate the patient out of the truck. The patient was placed in the care of the Paramedics and the Shock Trauma GO TEAM and was transported to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center via MSP Trooper 1. The accident is under investigation by the CCSO.
