Vehicle Rescue on Route 26

On Tuesday March 7th, Units were alerted for a vehicle collision with rescue for a car off the road and into the woods on Route 26. Duty 14 was the first to arrive reporting that one car was off the roadway just west of the fire station, with one patient trapped. Paramedic 149 and Engine 141 arrived and quickly went to work clearing vegetation around the car and made access to the car. Brush 145 arrived to assist with traffic control. The patient was extricated and transported for check-up. Engine 141 and Duty 14 cleared after Maryland State Police arrived to take over the scene.
