On Saturday morning at 11:43a.m. firefighters from Winfield and Sykesville Fire Department were alerted for a shed fire in the 5300 Block of View Point Court. First arriving units found a shed to the rear of the property fully involved with fire that also extended to the adjacent fence, trees, and yard. Engine 141 arrived and advanced a hose line through the yard to start extinguishing the fire from the west side of the property while Tower 12 advanced a second hand line to extinguish the fire on the east side. Tanker 14 supplied water for the fire attack crews and Engine 142 & Engine 124 assisted with overhaul.
