Crews from Winfield, Sykesville-Freedom District, and Lisbon spent their Sunday morning practicing their rescue skills. As part of Winfield Community VFD's in-service training program, quarterly training drills are held in addition to the monthly drills in an effort to provide additional training opportunities for members. This quarter's drill offered mutual aid companies the opportunity to participate in a "rescue day" where crews respond to simulated rescue emergencies in the community.

The morning's drills consisted of farm rescue incidents and vehicle rescue incidents. Many thanks to everyone who participated and many thanks to the Leppo Family for the use of their farm.
