On April 10, 2016 a crew from the Winfield Community Fire Dept. attended the annual MSFA Rural Water Supply Drill, held this year at Jarrettsville Fire Dept. A total of 11 tanker and multiple Engines and Special Units from Maryland and Pennsylvania took part in the drill that lasted a little over 2 hours. The drill started at a flow rate of 250 gallons per minute (GPM) and shortly before ending the drill 2000 GPM were achieved. A special thanks to Jarrettsville VFD for putting on the event.
