House Fire in Woodbine

On Tuesday evening March 29th at 9:30pm units from Carroll and Howard Counties were alerted for a house fire in the 7500 block of Woodbine Road. First arriving Engine 41 from Lisbon Fire Company arrived to heavy smoke showing from a single family house. The crew from HC Engine 41 made a quick interior attack and extinguished a fire in the kitchen. Engine 141 performed search and rescue, and secured the utilities to the structure. Tanker 14 handled water supply, Engine 12 provided the rapid intervention crew, Engine 142 assisted with ventilation, and HC Engine 131 staged at the bridge mounted dry fire hydrant at the Patapsco River to provide a water supply source if needed. The single occupant of the home has been displaced and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
