A little after midnight on March 26th, units from Howard and Carroll County were alerted for a house fire in the 2100 block of Route 97. Based on the comments coming in from Howard County's 911 center units enroute requested the Working Fire Task Force bringing Engine 141, Engine 142, Tanker 14, and Duty 14 with a total of 12 personnel to the scene. Crews from Winfield worked along side with other crews from Carroll, Howard, Frederick, and Montgomery Counties on fire extinguishment and overhaul. Crews from Winfield operated on the fire ground for approximately 3 hours before clearing the call.

An engine from New Windsor VFD came and filled in our station while we operated on the fire.
