On December 17, 2015 at 10:46pm Winfield Fire Department responded to a serious vehicle collision in the 3500 Block of Ridge Road (Route 27). Units arrived to a passenger car vs. tractor trailer with two patients injured. Crews worked to stabilize the patients for transport to Carroll Hospital Center then helped Maryland State Police wash debris off the roadway.
