FM Global chose Winfield as a receipient of a fire prevention grant to purchase 10 year lithium battery smoke alarms that meet the Maryland fire code.

Once the $2k check is received the devices will be purchased and available to our first due area residents that are in need. Those that received smoke alarms from one of our other two grants in the past three years will not qualify for these devices.
