House Fire on Louisville Road

On Monday June 1, 2015 at 2:25 a.m. fire departments from Carroll & Baltimore Counties were alerted for a house fire in the 3900 Block of Louisville Road in Gamber. First arriving Engine 134 reported fire showing from the second floor and attic area. The house was evacuated prior to arrival. A tanker task force was requested, sending Winfield's Tanker 14 to the scene. Engine 142 also responded and assisted with fire attack and overhaul. The Office of the State Fire Marshal advised the fire started from a lightning strike and caused approximately $150,000 in damages.
