On January 16th units from Carroll, Howard, and Baltimore Counties were alerted for a house fire in the 2100 Block of Harvest Farm Road. A Firefighter from Sykesville Fire Department was the first to arrive and reported it was a working fire and requested the second alarm. Winfield's Engine 141 was the second arriving engine and quickly picked up Engine 123's supply line and established water supply at the hydrant while the crew went to work assisting with extinguishing the blaze. The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office.
