On January 9th at 1:18a.m. Winfield and surrounding mutual aid fire departments were alerted for a reported house fire in the area of John Pickett Road & Leroy Drive in Woodbine. First arriving Duty 14 (EMS-14/Johnstone) arrived and advised it was a working barn fire in the 2100 Block of Leroy Drive. Chief 14 arrived and established Command and crews from Engine 142, Reserve Engine 141, and Engine 41 worked on extinguishing the blaze while Tanker 14 & Engine Tanker 44 provided water supply. Crews went in service shortly after 3:00a.m. Engine 12 filled in Station 14 during the incident.
