On Tuesday December 23rd at 7:21p.m. Winfield Units were alerted for a vehicle collision on Roop Road just south of Route 26. First arriving Chief 14-1 arrived, established command, and advised there was one car off the road into a tree with one patient trapped needing a door pop. The assignment was then upgraded and Rescue 1 was added to the call. Engine 142 & Utility 14 worked to extricate the patient and Rescue 1 was placed in service. Units went in service shortly after 8:00p.m.
