Vehicle Accident with Entrapment

On Wednesday Night April 18th at 4:41 p.m. Winfield Units were alerted for a vehicle accident on Route 26 at the intersection of White Rock Road. Paramedic 149 & Engine 141 arrived and immediately requested a 2nd transport unit. Utility 14 arrived and established Route 26 Command. Engine 141 and Utility 14's crew quickly stabilized the vehicle and performed a door pop extrication to get one of the patients removed. A third transport unit was requested, and all three medic units transported patients to Carroll Hospital Center. Unit cleared and went in service at 5:20 p.m.
