| Early Thursday morning firefighters from Westminster, Winfield, New Windsor, and Gamber were alerted at 01:29 hours for a house fire with reported smoke in the basement within the 800 Block of Warfieldsburg Road. Engine 32 (Westminster) was the first to arrive, establishing command, reporting a working basement fire, and requested the Rapid Intervention Dispatch. Chief 14 arrived and assisted with command. Engine 142 laid 300' of 5" supply line from the intersection of Route 27 & Warfieldsburg Road to the scene. Engine 142's crew deployed a backup line for the safety of crew inside the structure and assisted with overall. Units cleared and went in service at 03:00 hours. |
