On Monday November 23 at 13:41 hours, Winfield Units were alerted for a vehicle collision at the intersection of Route 26 and Skidmore Road. Once Winfield units arrived we found a 3 vehicle accident with multiple patients and 1 still entrapped in his vehicle. Lieutenant 14-4 established Route 26 command and asked for the working rescue assignment. Engine 141 worked quickly to stabilize the vehicle for rescue. Medic 17 (Mt. Airy) and Medic 128 (Sykesville) handled the other 2 vehicles involved. Rescue 1 arrived and assisted Engine141 with the rescue. Once the patient was extricated, Medic 149 took one patient to Shock Trauma. All units cleared at 14:23 hours.
