Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department is pleased to present a new Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS) program. Presented with material from ASHI, this course gives teenagers and young adults everything they need to know for safe and successful babysitting. From getting started with their business, to dealing with parents and children, to key safety, caregiving, and first aid tips, the magazine-format CABS guide and vlogger-style video make learning fun.
The course is recommended for teenagers 13-17 years old. 2 year certification card provided.
Course Registration Fee
If you live in Winfield Fire Department's Service area, the course is free. If you live outside the service area, a donation of $25 is requested to cover the cost of the materials.
Participants will be screened upon arrival and not permitted to remain unless they pass the health screening. Parents should arrive with the child and sign documentation at the start of the class, but are not required to remain for the duration of the class.
Course registration must be completed thru the Eventbrite link.
