MSFA North Central Region Junior Miss Fire Prevention Contest

On Sunday February 21st, family, friends and fire department representatives gathered at the Winfield Community Volunteer Fire Department (WCVFD) for the 2nd Annual North Regional Junior Miss Fire Prevention Contest.
Amanda Soper organized the event and past MSFA Miss Fire Prevention, Stacie Jaret, served as emcee. The WCVFD hosted and provided refreshments for the event.
While the judges (Nora Ryan, Jennifer Barciz and Joyce Thorne) were deliberating, remarks were made by Doug Alexander and fire prevention questions asked to the audience. There were also fourteen Miss Fire Prevention's in attendance from across the State of Maryland, and they were introduced as well.
Four contestants competed for the Junior Miss Fire Prevention title:

Outgoing MSFA Junior Miss Fire Prevention, Katie Frances, gave her outgoing speech and crowned the New Junior Miss - Melissa Williams. Congratulations to all, on a job well done!
