At 11:35am units from the Winfield Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of Route 26 (Liberty Road) and Roop Road for a Motor Vehicle Collision. Paramedic 149 arrived to find a 3 car accident and immediatly began to triage patients. Utility 14-1 arrived soon behind the medic unit, Chief 14-2 (Legore) established the Route 26 command and requested additional resources including MSP aviation. One patient was sent to Shock Trauma via Trooper 3 and two patients were sent to Carroll Hospital Center via Paramedic 17. The Winfield units operated on the scene for close to an hour prior to retuning to service.
