Wednesday morning January 27th Winfield crews were dispatched at 7:39 a.m. for a vehicle collision at the intersection of South Klee's Mill Road and Ronsdale Road. First arriving units found a tractor trailer vs. car with 1 patient trapped. Lt. 14-2 (Evan Dayhoff) established the South Klee's Mill Road command and crews from Engine 141 and Utility 14 worked to extricate the patient which was transported to Carroll Hospital Center. Immediately following the extrication the crew from Engine 141 worked to assist Maryland State Police by unlocking one of the police cruisers which was running with the keys locked inside. Units went in service at 08:49 hours.
