In the spirit of friendly competition, Winfield played host to the New Windsor Fire Department for a game of flag football. With some slightly muddy field conditions, both teams took to the field in an 8 on 8 battle. After giving up an opening drive score, New Windsor defense stepped up and shut down Winfield for the rest of the game. Winfield's defense was stifling not allowing New Windsor to score all game long. An interception returned for a touchdown on the last play of the game sealed the win for Winfield 13 - 0. New Windsor's coach Tom Coe has already asked for a rematch.
