On the afternoon of 4/17/19, Tanker 14 and Engine 142 were alerted to assist on a reported barn fire on Deer Park Road in Gamber. Units from Gamber VFC arrived to find a working barn fire and requested the Tanker Task Force.

Tanker 14 arrived and assisted with water supply operations. E142 and Duty 14 arrived and assisted with fire ground and truck crew operations. Winfield units operated for approximately three and half hours before returning to service. The state Fire Marshall’s Office was called to the location to investigate the cause of the fire.
