On Thursday February 7th at 12:18am Frederick County Box 17-43 was dispatched for a reported building fire in the 14300 Block of Harrisville Road. Chief 17-1 arrived to find a large equipment storage building fully involved with fire and beginning to collapse. A Rapid Intervention Dispatch and Tanker Task Force was requested for the incident. Winfield's Engine 142 responded and assisted with fire attack and overhaul while Tanker 14 assisted with water supply. The Frederick County Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the origin and cause of the blaze.
