At approximately 1:30am units from Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company and surrounding fire departments were alerted for a reported barn fire in the 600 Block of West Watersville Road in Mt. Airy. Units arrived to find a barn well involved. Firefighters worked to protect the adjacent exposures while extinguishing the blaze. Tanker 14 responded and assisted with water supply for the incident. The cause of the fire is under investigation by HCDFRS Office of the Fire Marshal.

Engine 142 was transferred to Lisbon Volunteer Fire Company and ran several motor vehicle accidents while covering their first due during the barn fire incident.
