Early Morning Working Rescue On Woodbine Road

On the morning of September of 7th at 0354hrs, rescue alarm 14-00 was alerted for a two car MVC in the 4700blk of Woodbine Rd, with reported entrapment. EMS Lieutenant 14-1 and Paramedic 149 arrived to find a two car head on collision with one patient trapped. EMS 14-1 established the Woodbine Road command and requested a second BLS transport unit . Engine 141 arrived and began extracting the patient. Crews rapidly were able to gain access into the car and extricated the patient in under five minuets. The patient was then taken to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. Crews worked to clean up debris and fluids from the roadway. The scene was turned over to CCSO and fire departments unit cleared the scene around 0440hrs.
