Winfield and ARC Partner to Save Lives

On Sunday, May 15, the American Red Cross and the Winfield Fire Department partnered to install free 10 year lithium battery smoke alarms as part of the MSFA Community Risk Reduction Weekend. Sixty-four smoke alarms were installed in two of our older developments located off of Linton and Perry Roads.

Fire department members that assisted: Jim Heckendorn, John Laster, James Main, Jeanne Burrier, Ruth Gosnell, Pat Crosby, Kelsea Cimabue, Andrew Broussard, Cindy Cimabue, Patsy Will, Sandy McKenzie, Austin Johnstone, Colton Beall, Nick Haspert and Laurie Logue-Ruckman.
