Thanks so much to crew that responded to my home this morning, January 18, 2021, to help get my father off the floor after he missed sitting in his chair and we were unable to lift him. I know he is a difficult person but the crew was professional and put the family at ease while they were here. Again, thanks and more thanks for their assistance!!! You all are appreciated especially in these times!

Thank you so much for getting me out of the car that fast on April 21. I have a 10 year old and 7 month old that wouldn't have had a mom home for Easter if it wasn't for all your work that night. I am back at work at Amante's again doing short shifts and am so thankful how fast I healed after looking at that car. Both of my feet were broke and I had Staples and stitches in my left knee and right shin. Thank you for all you do and giving me a chance to stay with my kids husband and family still.

Last Thursday at 5:45 my daughter had a seizure at the corner of white rock and liberty road in her car. I cannot thank her paramedics enough who responded to her and saved her life. She is doing well and would love to meet the team who saved her. We are very fortunate in carroll county to have such dedicated heroes.

I just want to thank all the men and woman that fought our garage fire about 2 weeks ago. Your company did a wonderful job. Despite that we lost everything in the garage. Now we r just waiting on the go ahead to clean out the garage and replace it. Again thank u so much it was very heartbroken for my husband and I.

I would like to thank the fire department for all its help the night of August 21, when my truck caught fire on 27. No one was hurt, and the department put the fire out very soon after they arrived. My truck meant alot to me, and is now totally ruined in the engine and cab, but the frame and bed are still in good shape. Thank you for all you do. And thank you to the man with the fire extinguisher who pulled over and tried to help before the fire department arrived. I don't know if you will see this but your help was greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Well with Scott's help I was accepted into the volunteer fire dept here in New York. Yup, the old dude is at it again. Lots of training to catch up on and has to be New York version. Been recertified in CPR and had first aid class. Going to have fire police class before I head home October 3rd. Have pump work also before I leave. Hope I can make a good showing for my training in Maryland. Been a few years but I really want this. Have missed being in the fire service and ems for too long. Be safe in all that you do and all calls. Thank you for all you did to instill the volunteerism in me. At home I am in a community group to clean up the city and make things better for everyone. Gramps!!

As someone that has lived near 5 different stations in my 24 yrs living in Maryland I have come to know firefighters and EMT's as not just part of the community but more so as extended family willing to risk their lives to save people from harm. My friend Nicole works for West Friendship VFD and I've worked for the U.S. Air Force Auxiliary since May of 2007 so I know what it means to put your life on the line for your community, state, and nation. I hope you'll keep up the good work and since I'm joining Winfield VFD very soon I hope to develop a great working relationship with all of you. I remember coming into WCVFD every now and then during my tours when I worked out there in beautiful Carroll County. I would cruise up and down Liberty Road during my patrols when I worked for Sykesville PD. I was out there for nearly 10 years. A nice quiet, sleepy Mayberry back then. I have a patch from Sykesville-Freedom VFD and would love to have one from Winfield to put in my scrapbook for a momento. Can someone contact me about obtaining one or arranging a trade. i grew up coming to this fire house and i miss it

I want to say thank you for protecting our homes and families. My daughter, Summer, in first grade, won third place in your fire prevention posster contest. I attended the open house and Lt. Chris from Sykesville helped me to see what "beer goggles" do to a driver. Unfortunately, my ex-husband didn't bring our daughter to the ceremony, but I was able to see the proud children in attendance.
This year, as a third grader at Linton Springs, she has won first place, and we will make every effort to attend after her Raiders cheer team has competed in College Park. If we are unable to make it in time, I want to say thank you again.

I was a member back in the mid/late 70's. We lived next to Warners (old house) on Muller Rd. (Remember Ellen Jones?) I used to try to catch Ricky Warner as he drove (if that's what you call it) out of his yard. Usually missed. I still remember Rodney, "sweetpea", Larry Yon, the guy who lived to take dumps...anyway, great site, great memories. Somebody please contact me so I can purchase a shirt and patch. Be safe.

I grew up around this fire house with my dad Rich Hull in the 90's. Grew up riding on the center console of the old 145, and goin to the carnivals. Any way this fire house started my love for the fire service I have been a vol for 6 years now and am a rescue tech for the 911th tech rescue. You guys be safe!!!!! I want to thank the members of your agency for the care you gave to Metro Transit Police Officer Dennis Henley, Jr. after his motorcycle accident on 8/10/09. His friends and colleagues are stunned and saddened over his loss. Thank you for all you did to try and save him.
